Federal Pell Grant
is a Federal grant program awarded to students with exceptional financial needs as determined through the FAFSA process. This award does not have to be repaid. Although students may be required to repay some of their Pell grant if they withdraw from school.
StudentsĀ are now limited to receive 12 full time semesters (or 6 full years) of Pell Grant eligibility during their lifetime.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG or SEOG)
is an additional Federal grant funds available to students with unusual financial need as determined through the FAFSA process. This grant is usually combined with other forms of aid and is also non-repayable. UT has very limited funds, so you should apply early to be considered for this grant.
Utah Higher Education Student Success Stipend
is limited to eligible Utah residents only; these stipends are usually awarded to UT students in the form of work-study funds. UT has very limited funds, so you should apply early to be considered for this stipend.
